The mirrored finish is now available as an option on the most popular bathroom products across the company’s Classic Collection and its luxury 8mm Coastline Collection. Uniquely, the mirrored effect is available not only on complete panels, but also as an inset panel, which creates a whole new look for the bathroom.
According to Lakes Bathrooms its mirrored products help to visually expand any room by reflecting light and creating the illusion of space. At the same time, the manufacturer claims, the mirrored element also provides privacy for the shower user; whilst it lets light through, it effectively obscures the user for discrete showering, which is a bonus in shared bathrooms.

The mirrored treatment is integral to the glass and created during manufacture. It allows light through, thanks to a slight degree of transparency. This is important, says Lakes Bathrooms, as it ensures that the enclosure is still bright and light inside. The inset option further enhances the dual benefit of light transmission and mirrored reflection, plus creates an interesting effect, with the mirrored section typically filling the full length of the door or panel.
The modular approach that Lakes Bathrooms has introduced with its mirrored elements makes for greater design possibilities with options to configure to individual preferences, with choice of side panels, shower doors and bath screens.
